The practice of mindfulness is a fascinating and gentle journey of befriending ones mind, of building self-awareness and acceptance. Clarity and understanding of how our mind engages with experiences and the effects that these engagements have allows us to know our habitual patterns and gives us the choice to respond rather than react to situations.

Mindfulness can be practiced in both meditation and daily life activities.

Heather’s introduction to Buddhist philosophy and meditation practices, from which mindfulness is derived, began in 1980. She began incorporating mindfulness into her yoga teaching in 1994 and teaching mindfulness meditation courses in 2008. She incorporates mindfulness into all her coaching and teaching and maintains a committed daily practice.
